TEC Fire & Security, can supply, install, service and maintain all types of fire alarms and fire detection including point detection, smoke, heat, CO2, Beams, Aspirating (air sampling). We can help with, design, installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance.
All services are performed in accordance to BS5839-1 2017 by fully trained, competent technicians. As a BAFE SP203-1 company, we are accredited in design, installation, commissioning, handover and maintenance. We also provide a 24-7 call out service, 365 days a year.
Why do you need a fire alarm and maintenance?
Fire alarms are required in most buildings, in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the Fire Risk Assessment. They are the safest and most reliable way of informing all employees and staff of a fire situation.
Fire alarm servicing should be carried out at least every six months as recommended in the British Standard Code of Practice.
When choosing a fire alarm system many factors need to be considered such as the purpose, building structure and current legislation.
Fire Safety in new, extended or altered buildings is the responsibility of the Local Authority who delegates the responsibility to Building Control Department who in turn enforces and administers the Building Regulations.
In existing commercial buildings, premises are subject to The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
